ASSET INTEGRITY

NDT (Non-Destructive Testing)
We can provide the following NDT techniques by multi-discipline technicians qualified to British Institute of Non Destructive Testing (BINDT) PCN Level:

MPI – Magnetic Particle Inspection
ET – Eddy Current Inspection
PT – Liquid Penetrant Inspection
VT – Visual Inspection
UT – Ultrasonic Testing (including more advanced techniques such as Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing and TOFD)

Load Path Inspections
We have vast knowledge and experience of periodic Drilling Equipment Inspections. We can ensure all Category III and Category IV requirements for both API RP 8B and API RP 7L are met and exceeded.

Lifting Gear Inspections
We can meet your Lifting Equipment Regulatory requirements with our experienced LEEA (The Lifting Equipment Engineers Association) qualified technicians. Either as part of a periodic inspection campaign or as an individual service.

Derrick Bolt Inspection
Technicians with over 10 years of Drilling Derrick experience can provide bolt inspection surveys. We can complete tap testing, bolt replacement and bolt torqueing services. Documented bolt drawings will be provided to assist with future campaigns.

Inspection and Reporting Packages
North Engineering can offer procedure and reporting packages to meet International standards (BS, API, ASTM, LOLER etc) as well as client specific requirements.

DROPS Surveys
At North Engineering we have Dropped Object Specialists who are able to complete comprehensive dropped object surveys.
